Guess who went to the nursery during service?

Last week after service I told Mark I wanted to look at the nursery. He was also interested, so all three of us took a walk and "toured" the nursery. I was pleasantly surprised, one, with the open space and two, that they usually only have about 7 infants/toddlers at one time. My church is not a "mega" church but it is not a small church by no means.

Later in the week I told Mark that I thought I would be okay to leave Elianna in the nursery. So far we have been going into the family room with her. Since cold season is pretty much past us and there are few kids in the nursery, I thought we could give it a try.

I'm proud to say, I was able to let her go without too much emotional turmoil and I only looked at my watch once during the service and it was towards the end.

We found out that she did pretty well. She did cry, but was able to be consoled. They sang worship songs to her and prayed for her...love it!

When we got home Eli had a feeding and we relaxed in the front yard to enjoy the afternoon.
