I'm looking into going back to school for my PhD and came across an EdD. So what's the difference? I've been asking colleagues and friends, but there has been no real answer. Can anyone help with this?
All research studies done on the subject of the Ed.D. versus the Ph.D. in education have come to the same conclusion: There really is no difference. Some people think that the Ph.d. is a "higher" degree than the Ed.D., but there is not data to support that opinion.
